About Us

Gwasg Helygain is a family printing business established in Rhyl, North Wales in 1974 by husband and wife Eddie & Linda Lloyd-Davies. The partnership grew steadily over the years, and has gradually moved upwards to occupy all 5 floors of 68/70 Kinmel Street. Gwasg Helygain was incorporated as a limited company in 1997, bringing son & daughter Guto & Sian Lloyd-Davies on board as directors.  In Nov 2007 due to lack of space at 68/70 Kinmel Street, we moved into our 1240sq foot production unit at r/o 24 Elwy Street.

We currently have 5 staff and have comprehensive written policies, which were developed as a result of our participation in the Welsh Assembly Government's SME Equality Project modelled on best practice.

Trade Bodies

We are members of the BPIF or British Printing Industries Federation www.britishprint.com and all business is conducted under their standard terms of contract. We also adhere to their code of conduct.

Environment

We recycle all of our paper, card, cardboard, scrap metal and plastic waste. Waste chemistry is disposed of by a specialist recycling company. Paper & card is sourced only from suppliers dealing with managed, sustainable forests including FSC Certified sources as well as recycled papers and card.
